A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated related work experience to include significant events and promotion experience-in both online/interactive and off-line--that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Candidate must have experience in developing and implementing aggressive, customer-focused events and promotions. Work experience must have be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. Technical skills to effectively implement social media. Ability to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel. OR Completion of the requirements for a bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or closely related field. Ability to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess +6 months work experience and promotion marketing. Possess +6 months experience developing and implementing customer focused events. Managed all phases of an event or promotion, including planning, budgeting, onsite execution, and drafting after-action report. Possess the technical skills to effectively implement social media, along with +6 months experience in monitoring trends and measuring the impact of social media on overall marketing campaigns. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume and Transcripts submitted at the time of application to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position.
