Marketing Content Intern

Position Summary:

May - August Summer Internship

Based out of our Vaughan, ON office, the Content Marketing Intern will work closely with the Canadian Marketing team to support the planning, execution, and delivery of content initiatives across TaylorMade Canada’s digital channels. This role provides hands-on experience across content creation, social media management, and event support, with a strong focus on social-first storytelling. The intern will support the Content and Media Lead with social content calendar development, publishing, community monitoring, and performance measurement, while also assisting with on-site content capture at key golf events.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Media Management & Organization

  • Organize and categorize footage from content shoots, ensuring adherence to established naming conventions and folder structures.
  • Tag and archive assets within our shared media library to support efficient retrieval for ongoing and future projects.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated catalogue of evergreen footage, product assets, and creator content.

Content Creation

  • Contribute to brainstorming and ideation of new, innovative content concepts tailored for TaylorMade Canada’s social platforms
  • Capture lo‑fi, on-the-ground content using an iPhone at events such as the RBC Canadian Open and CPKC Women’s Open.
  • Assist with shooting behind-the-scenes content during creator sessions and product shoots.
  • Produce occasional lightweight graphic design assets (e.g., social tiles, simple motion/animation when possible).
  • Create short-form cutdowns of long-form videos for multiple platforms

Social Media Management

  • Support day-to-day posting on TaylorMade Canada social channels, ensuring timely and accurate execution of content calendars.
  • Contribute to copywriting for short-form posts, captions, and social-first storytelling.
  • Pull weekly or monthly social analytics and chart them for reporting
  • Assist in community monitoring by flagging notable comments, questions, or engagement opportunities.

Marketing Team Support

  • Support onsite marketing events with staffing and content creation
  • Support marketing asset creation and post to asset library.
  • Organize, prepare and ship physical marketing materials and equipment from the office.
  • Collect and analyze market research and other in-house data.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Education, Work Experience and Professional Certification:

  • Currently enrolled full-time and working towards a degree in creative, media, marketing, communications
  • Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate studies
  • Previous experience in a social media or digital marketing role is an asset
  • Enrolled in an approved co-op or internship program
  • Photography and video capture/editing experience
  • Creative ability and experience with Adobe editing programs

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Avid golfer and understanding of competitive golf landscape / tournament structures.
  • Digital and content creation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media applications like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Strong sense of professionalism & judgment in response to issues in the public social media space.
  • Able to optimize digital assets for social platforms and digital display ads
  • Knowledge of social media monitoring/publishing/listening tools.
  • Efficient organizational skills.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office environment during golf off season
  • Select travel to support onsite content shoots and sponsored events
