Overview of the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Marketing utilising a spectrum of marketing activities. Based in Nuveen’s second-largest European office, Frankfurt, the Marketing Executive is focused on the German and Austrian institutional markets working closely with the local marketing and sales team, to execute the region’s ‘go to market’ plan and best position Nuveen for growth.
The Marketing Executive will support the local marketing team on several marketing activities such as the creation of marketing collateral ranging from presentations, website pages, and e-marketing newsletters, to invites and company brochures, in addition to channel activity such as event and sponsorship support. The candidate will work closely with other marketing functions including communications, product, brand, digital and paid media, across Europe, Asia Pacific and U.S.-based marketing teams, helping to provide an integrated marketing approach.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supports on execution of Germany and Austria marketing plan working closely with local marketing and sales team to meet business objectives.
Supports the creation, maintenance and production of online and offline marketing materials as required by the German and Austria sales and investment teams, ensuring materials are aligned with business strategy and objectives, and are regularly updated. This includes marketing presentations, brochures, website pages, email marketing, social media and videos.
Translates short forms of content, and reviews long form translations from external translators, between German and English materials across asset classes.
Executes brand-building and awareness opportunities for the business including advertising placements, sponsorship and social media.
Works closely with events team on proprietary and external events programme, supporting onsite at local events when required.
Supports Nuveen’s EMEA paid social media activities including the management of target client lists.
Manages and regularly updates international and German Seismic library pages.
Assists in the development of new ideas for communicating thought leadership and business news (such as newsletters, website and social media).
Technical Skills & Qualifications Required
2+ years marketing experience
Qualification in Marketing preferred
Fluent in written and spoken native German and professional English.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
