Responsible for managing marketing efforts focused around branch network and/or corporate partnerships, assuming primary responsibility for the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to meet company and branch growth initiatives

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully

  • Assists in developing overall marketing and media plans to promote sponsorships throughout the designated Mountain America footprint
  • Develops strategic marketing plans to drive new account growth, increase products and services per household and support company growth goals
  • Develops marketing plans to promote Mountain America’s products and services through various partnership channels, including television, radio, outdoor, branches, print, e-mail, online channels and in-stadium/arena.
  • Executes marketing plans and ensuring specific product growth goals are met and branch profitably metrics are reached
  • Analyzes market trends, demographic information, segmentation tools, environmental and community influences to effectively engage with consumers in the Mountain America footprint.
  • Works with marketing leadership to understand markets, growth opportunities and performance standards
  • Works closely with marketing leaders and product channel managers to execute overall product marketing strategies
  • Builds and maintains strong partner relationships
  • Manages projects from inception to completion including the organization of project teams to complete objectives
  • Plans and executes events as assigned
  • Develops proposals for new promotions, manages projects and ensures milestones are on track and deadlines are met
  • Writes creative briefs
  • May manage corporate partnerships, ensuring strategic alignment to critical measures and company goals
  • May participate in and may direct sponsorship negotiations at the direction of CMO, or VP of Corporate Partnerships
  • Serves as a brand ambassador in these relationships
  • Reviews contract content and fulfillment
  • May support branch marketing needs as requested, review promotional proposals and make recommendations a needed.
  • May work closely with VP of Corporate Partnerships and CMO/SVP of Marketing to develop strategic partnership objectives
  • Works with internal departments and teams to develop, launch and execute marketing campaigns
  • Creates ROI, metrics and reporting dashboards for assigned campaigns.
  • Serves as departmental liaison between numerous internal departments and marketing
  • Provides information, answers questions and ensures consistency in relation to all marketing efforts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

  • Seven years in progressive marketing roles
  • Two years in a sports marketing, event or sponsorship role preferred when working with Corporate sponsorship team.
  • Seven plus years of experience in project management

Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related field.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Competent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Experience in project management software (Microsoft Project, At Task or related)

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibility.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives
  • Working knowledge and experience with quantitative analysis, statistics, etc.
  • Experience in data and analytics management, including the use of predictive modeling to develop accurate market and product forecasts.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and formulate them into effective marketing strategies
  • Experience with marketing campaign management and advertising
  • Experience with executing marketing campaigns through mass media, direct mail, point of sale and online channels.
  • Knowledge of media buying tactics and strategies
  • Knowledge and experience with financial product and services

For Corporate Sponsorship team this position must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
