Job Purpose:
 

This position solves complex problems and identifies innovative solutions, interprets business issues, and implements best practices. This position supports optimizing existing capabilities in marketing while identifying and implementing new capabilities to generate strong future growth. Additionally, this role will be a key player in executing the future state vision of marketing capabilities for B2B and B2C. 

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Manages team Agile ceremonies and backlog.
  • Facilitates cross functional engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of the team roadmap and priorities.
  • Supports regular evaluation of capability maturity for assigned areas.
  • Recommends and leads the implementation of system enhancements, facilitates change management, leads educational and/or mentoring sessions regarding process or system design changes.
  • Establishes measurement plans for changes including the associated metrics to assess success, communicate results, and drive the changes to effectively increase performance.
  • Leads projects to bring new growth capabilities to marketing.
  • Acts as an initiative owner of initiatives from business planning through to execution. Implements a project governance structure.  Creates and utilizes a communication plan to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to deliver intended results and develops close working relationships with cross-functional partners. Provides subject matter expertise on project and change management efforts. Provides input and requirements and creates other necessary documentation.
  • Brings innovative opportunities to marketing based on new emerging technologies. Stays up to date on emerging trends in the marketing technology industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT, Business Process Management, Business Continuous Improvement, or related field. This experience should include successful implementation of processes or continuous improvement initiatives to include application of project management methodology.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing technologies for both B2B and B2C marketing.  Knowledge of call center sales processes or similar customer interaction channels preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills in driving and successfully delivering initiatives and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Experience in making recommendations and decisions based on quantitative analysis.
  • Proven success in collaborating and influencing multiple functions and groups to achieve desired sales/financial goals.
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills with an understanding of insurance financials.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong time management, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to travel - not to exceed 10% of the time (will travel to Madison, WI a few times per year for team events)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer candidates that have experience with the following technologies (SalesForce / Unica / Microsoft Ado).
  • Experience in one of the following industries (insurance / banking / finance).
  • Knowledge of Life & Health products or annuities preferred.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$91,300.00 - $136,900.00
