About the Role
This is a terrific opportunity to upskill your craft while contributing to the development of compelling, on-brand content tailored for digital platforms, specifically the creation of engaging, persuasive, and personalised content for segmented, nurture and engagement email marketing campaigns.
As a crucial member of the Digital Marketing Team, the Marketing Automation Coordinator assists the team in crafting and executing email marketing, automation and digital strategies aimed at recruiting domestic and international students. This is a team is doing amazing things while they innovate and push boundaries with the goal of changing how students experience Higher Education.
Some of the key position responsibilities of the role are:
Contributing to the development of content for email marketing campaigns based on audience segmentation and workflows which includes for A/B and multivariant testing to test digital marketing and automation campaigns utilising Marketo and other digital marketing platforms.
Supporting digital marketing and automation activities through the effective use and continuous optimisation of marketing platforms and customer data systems, including identifying new use cases and process improvements.
Participating in the testing, validation and quality assurance of new or enhanced digital marketing and automation features prior to deployment, supporting continuous improvement and effective adoption of platform capabilities
Working with the Creative Studio, content producers and copywriters to develop compelling, audience-led content across the customer lifecycle, supporting integrated campaigns and marketing automation journeys across email, web and social channels.
About You
With a solid understanding of digital marketing, you are a natural communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional team and stakeholders alike. A master of organisation, you have the capacity to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, exercise initiative, judgement and problem-solving skills, and can interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
Familiar with CRM systems and a basic understanding of how customer data is captured and used to support personalised digital marketing and automation activities, you possess the ability to deliver creative, innovative, email marketing campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes. This is complimented by your experience or exposure to audience and market segmentation principles, with an understanding of how these can support targeted messaging across different campaign objectives and stages of the customer journey.
Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related field with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training are required, however, familiarity with the higher education sector, though not essential, is advantageous,
