Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a global manufacturer of industrial forklift trucks, is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Internship Program. This internship is ideal for marketing students who want hands-on experience with digital asset management and marketing operations. We’re seeking candidates who excel at working collaboratively, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong organizational and analytical skills to support asset migration, metadata application, and content governance initiatives.

What you’ll do:
Assist with migrating marketing and brand assets from Box to the Bynder Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
Audit and review assets—identifying, tagging, and organizing them for quality, compliance, and improved discoverability.
Apply consistent taxonomy, metadata, and naming conventions; flag assets that shouldn’t be migrated.
Support uploads, conduct quality checks after migration, and ensure assets are correctly categorized within the DAM.
Maintain logs, document issues, and provide feedback for continuous improvement of asset governance processes.
What you will need:
Enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program focused on one of the below programs:
Marketing
Digital Media
Information Management
Business Operations
Design or Creative Operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with large volumes of files and structured data (e.g. spreadsheets).
Basic understanding of marketing or digital content (images, PDFs, presentations, video).
Confidence following processes, naming conventions, and governance rules.
Interest in marketing operations, content management, or brand governance.
Familiarity with digital asset management systems (e.g. Bynder) or content platforms such as Box, SharePoint, or Google Drive.
Experience tagging, organizing, or curating digital content.
Strong written communication skills for documentation and issue reporting.
What you will participate in:
Alongside hands-on experience in their specific functional areas, interns are required to complete roughly 20 program hours. This involves participation in:
Professional Development Courses: Interns will have access to a wide variety of training videos and courses, with encouragement to complete modules that support their growth.
Career Coaching Sessions: Interns can connect one-on-one with members of the HYMH Talent Acquisition team for personalized career coaching and guidance.
Business Acumen Sessions: A series of sessions focused on building company knowledge and supporting personal and professional development.
Networking Events: Opportunities to connect with fellow interns and company leadership through both in-person and virtual events.
Site Tours: Interns will have the chance to tour different company locations to broaden their understanding of the business and explore potential career paths.
Final Experience Presentation: At the end of the program, interns will present their experience to peers and leaders across the Americas division, providing valuable exposure and reflection.
