VCA West Los Angeles is seeking a positive, outgoing, and motivated professional to join our hospital leadership team as a Marketing and Referral Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-driven leader who enjoys building connections, leading a team, and representing a hospital known for exceptional medicine. Other duties as assigned.
$75,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience.

This role is a member of hospital leadership and will oversee a small team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and developing others, setting goals, and driving results related to referral growth, marketing impact, and business outcomes.
The Marketing and Referral Manager will lead efforts to grow and strengthen the hospital’s referral network by:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with current referring veterinarians through proactive outreach and ongoing support
Expanding new external referral relationships to drive specialty and emergency business to VCA West Los Angeles
Strengthening the VCA-to-VCA referral network by partnering closely with internal hospital teams
Leading community engagement efforts that support hospital growth and align with the hospital’s operational vision
Facilitating doctor lunch-and-learn and dinner-and-learn meetings with referring partners to increase awareness of services and specialties
This role will also drive brand awareness and client engagement by:
Positioning VCA West Los Angeles as a signature location through targeted marketing and outreach efforts
Partnering with hospital services to ensure premium offerings are highlighted across social and digital platforms
Leading social media and multimedia marketing initiatives to support client growth and retention
Supporting hospital and company-wide initiatives related to client strategy and community presence
Overseeing and creating Continuing Education (CE) opportunities within the hospital
Supporting and facilitating the hospital’s annual CE event, West LA Unleashed
Coordinating educational and community events that strengthen relationships and increase hospital visibility
Serve as a member of the hospital leadership team
Oversee and lead a small team, providing direction, coaching, and accountability
Collaborate with hospital leaders to align marketing and referral efforts with business goals
Proven leadership experience with managing and developing a team
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms
Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule as needed
