The Marketing & Communications Associate is a core member of the marketing and communications team, working closely with the Marketing & Communications team and enterprise leadership. This role has a dual focus: approximately 50% organizational communications and 50% marketing execution. The Associate will ensure the OSUHP’s internal and external messages are clear, consistent, and delivered effectively while also augmenting marketing operations and execution capacity. This position requires strong writing and content development skills, as well as the ability to manage processes, tools, and templates that streamline and professionalize our communications and marketing efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • 2 years of relevant professional experience required in communications and/or marketing. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.

  • Experience in creating social media posts (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Teams; Salesforce experience a plus.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically InDesign and Photoshop

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and execution-focused.

  • Collaborative mindset with ability to partner effectively across functions and with leadership.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically InDesign and Photoshop, a plus.
