Whether you come from a background in marketing analytics, business analytics, data science, or a related field, you can be successful in this role. We don’t require a specific degree or experience, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. We will provide you with the training and development opportunities needed to build a career here!
About The Role:
There’s a meaningful difference between delivering analysis and being trusted as an analytical partner—and that’s exactly what you’ll be working toward in this role.
As a Marketing Analytics Consultant at MRC, you’ll support multiple mortgage and finance brands, helping connect marketing performance to real business outcomes. You won’t just respond to requests. You’ll dig deeper to understand what stakeholders actually need, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver insights that are accurate, thoughtful, and grounded in strong analytical judgment.
You’ll work within a modern analytics stack that includes SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and evolving AI tools. Success in this role means knowing when to use the right tool, how to approach complex or ambiguous problems, and how to communicate insights in a way that drives decisions. Over time, you’ll take on more complex work and become a trusted partner to business leaders.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:
Analyzing marketing and business performance across brands using metrics like CPL, CPA, lead volume, ROAS, and margin, turning data into clear, actionable insights.
Evaluating data quality, assumptions, and limitations to ensure your findings are accurate and defensible before sharing with stakeholders.
Breaking down complex or ambiguous problems into clear analytical steps, selecting the right methods based on data, constraints, and business goals.
Prioritizing and sequencing work across multiple stakeholders, balancing competing needs and recommending tradeoffs when needed.
Building strong partnerships with stakeholders by consistently delivering high-quality, thoughtful analysis.
Creating clear, concise data narratives that help stakeholders understand what matters and what actions to take next.
Presenting insights and recommendations to marketing leadership with confidence and clarity.
Building and maintaining dashboards and reports that are scalable, well-documented, and easy for stakeholders to use.
Applying best practices in SQL, data modeling, and visualization to improve the quality and efficiency of analytics work.
Using AI tools thoughtfully within your workflow, knowing when they add value and validating outputs before using them.
Supporting tracking and measurement strategies for marketing campaigns to ensure meaningful performance insights.
Pitching in wherever needed to help foster a strong, collaborative team culture.
About You:
You enjoy solving complex problems and are comfortable working with ambiguous or incomplete information.
You have strong analytical skills and can confidently work with both marketing and financial data.
You communicate clearly and can translate data into insights that others understand and act on.
You’re highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift.
You build strong relationships and earn trust through consistent, high-quality work.
You’re comfortable working with tools like SQL, Tableau, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
You have experience analyzing marketing performance and connecting it to business outcomes.
You’re curious and open to learning new tools, including AI, and can apply them thoughtfully in your work.
You show up consistently and can be counted on to get the job done.
