As a Marketing AI Engineer your key area of responsibility will be building intelligent agents that leverage internal and external data sources to deliver accurate, optimized content and measurement capabilities. This includes leveraging brand and other guard rails in the automation of campaign planning, brief/asset generation, and program activation to ensure consistency with Geotab standards. The role’s core focus leverages AI to automate repetitive tasks, supercharge creativity, and get better results from campaigns. You will be responsible for the implementation of the project tasks, as well as managing day-to-day activities. You will need to work closely with the AEO Content Analyst, and the AI Data & Evaluation Analyst to collectively influence "what AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others say about our brand, and ways to improve these results".
Explores and identifies use cases where AI can drive greater marketing efficiency and performance; build solutions aligning to those use cases.
Creates assistants that turn inputs like “target: mid-market transportation & logistics; goal: demos” into channel plans, budgets, briefs, and task lists, starters and samples.
Connects to our sources of truth (brand guidelines, product docs, case studies, campaign results, CRM/MAP) so outputs are accurate and on-brand.
Adds guardrails (citations, tone checks, PII redaction) and manual review steps to ensure safeguards are in place.
Tracks usage, quality, and cost; iterate to improve adoption and reliability.
Works with third party data sources (eg. Clay, Zoominfo, 6sense) to enrich lead data and improve our ability to identify target audiences.
Conducts real-time and regular reviews of performance to ensure marketing tactics are optimized to meet objectives.
Works closely with the AEO Content Analyst to ensure that all created content is optimized to contribute to influence and be recognized by AI agents.
LLM app development (RAG, tool/function calling, multi-step workflows) in Python/TypeScript.
Experience with frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph or LlamaIndex; vector databases (pgvector/Pinecone/Weaviate).
Experience with integrations with CMS/DAM, GA4/BI, MAP/CRM (Marketo/HubSpot/Salesforce), project tools (Jira), Slack/Teams.
Knowledge of Guardrails, evaluation, security (OAuth/SSO), cloud deployment, and UI skills (HTML/CSS).
Marketo Engage Certified Expert (MCE) / SFMC certifications are an asset.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
