Job Summary:

This opportunity is for a Market Planning Specialist within the market planning team. The Market Planning team plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth within our priority market segments by researching key expansion opportunities and working with the business to define associated growth strategies. This position requires a strategic mindset, advanced research and analytical skills, and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Conduct Research: Gather data on market size, growth patterns, segmentation, competitors, industry trends, and regulations.

·       Trend Analysis: Work with internal teams to understand performance trends as an input to strategy design and refinement.

·       Strategy Development: Lead or support creation of robust strategies for specified target segments by leveraging market insights and strategic thinking.

·       Support Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams like Product, Content, Data, Marketing, and Sales to help implement strategic initiatives.

·       Project Management: Manage multiple responsibilities across various segments, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Expected Deliverables and Results:

·       Presentations: Lead in or support preparing presentations to summarize findings and propose strategies for review.

·       Cross-Functional Input: Set and lead the agenda for regular meetings with internal stakeholders to inform the direction of strategy development via opportunity assessment framework.

·       Actionable Strategies: Outline and document growth plans and market penetration approaches.

·       Strategic Initiatives: Develop thinking around initiatives that improve revenue generation and market share.

·       Regular Reporting: Report against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, market expansion, pipeline generation, and competitive positioning.

·       Research and Analysis: Strong skills in gathering and analyzing market data to drive strategic decision-making.

·       Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to influence and collaborate with peers across different departments.

·       Project Coordination: Strong project management skills to help coordinate tasks and achieve agreed deliverables.

·       Communication: Advanced communication skills to assist in articulating strategies and gaining buy-in.

·       Proactive and Strategic: A proactive working style with a strategic mindset to meet tight deadlines and drive impactful results.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $113,100 - $188,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in New York, the pay range is $124,500 - $207,400. If performed in New York City, the pay range is $130,100 - $216,800. If performed in Rochester, NY, the pay range is $107,500 - $179,100. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
