Why This Market Clinical Trainer Role Is Different

The Market Clinical Trainer is a clinical leadership role that directly impacts patient outcomes by elevating the skills, consistency, and confidence of Respiratory Therapists across the market. This role blends clinical expertise, coaching, and partnership with leadership to drive high‑quality, consistent care.

Key Highlights

  • Location: Market-based; travel within assigned territory required

  • Work Style: Combination of in‑person, virtual, and field‑based clinical training

Key highlights

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

  • Work Arrangement: 30% travel and 70% in the branch/remote. Mix of patient interaction, education, and remote support

  • Traveling: Southern California + Hawaii.

Salary range

  • $120,000 - $130,000/annual. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Role Purpose

The Market Clinical Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, reinforcing, and assessing clinical training programs for Respiratory Therapists. This role ensures therapists are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support products, services, and clinical standards while addressing individual and market‑specific training needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver clinical training to new and tenured Respiratory Therapists through in‑person and virtual formats.

  • Assess clinical competency through ride‑along, observation, and performance feedback.

  • Provide one‑on‑one coaching and hands‑on skills development.

  • Customize training approaches based on individual, branch, or market needs.

  • Serve as the market subject‑matter expert for clinical initiatives and programs.

  • Partner with local leadership to reinforce best practices and clinical performance standards.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to corporate clinical teams to support national training improvements.

What We Look For

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

  • Education or experience equivalent to a four‑year degree.

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in respiratory therapy, clinical training, or related healthcare roles.

  • Prior experience coaching, mentoring, or training clinicians.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned market territory.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Active Respiratory Therapist (RT/RCP) license

  • NBRC registration

  • Current CPR certification

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

  • All required state licenses in good standing
