This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Summit Club, set outside of Las Vegas, NV.

Summit Club is seeking a Market Attendant to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.

The Marketplace Attendant’s main responsibilities are ensuring food and beverage orders are received to our members satisfaction. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company’s experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all members formally by using their surname
• Conduct financial transactions (operate the cash register and count back change) or charge to Member Accounts properly via POS system ensuring accuracy.
• Continually train and mentor the team on the market’s coffee program.
• Keep the market areas and grab and go items neat, organized, and well stocked.
• Store outlet food properly and according to food safety guidelines.
• Prepare quality products including coffee and non-coffee beverages with the use of an espresso machine, blenders, and other equipment assisting in beverage preparation.
• Ensure daily checklists are completed.
• Works closely with management to ensure efficient inventory operation levels.
• Monitors and maintains appearance standards of the market and it's attendants.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, guest services, or market or retail services preferred.
• Prior experience with Residential, HOA and/or large expansive resort communities preferred.
• Prior F&B point of sale (POS) experience desirable.

Additional Requirements

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must possess valid SNHD Health Card & TAM Card.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
