PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Market Analyst (m/f/d). What if it was you? 

Your Mission 

In today’s fast-changing environment, businesses must anticipate market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to stay ahead. At PwC Luxembourg, our Market Intelligence department part of the Knowledge Management team, provides strategic insights that empower decision-making and drive business growth. 

As a Market Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring, researching, and analyzing market developments, with a strong focus on financial ecosystem and key industries such as Asset Management and Alternatives. By transforming data into actionable intelligence, you’ll enable informed decisions that anticipate risks, seize growth drivers, and shape future strategies. 

Your tasks 

• Monitor and interpret market / Industry signals 

• Conduct daily market watch across multiple sources (websites, press, regulatory bodies, industry reports) to identify trends impacting PwC’s industries. 

• Ensure timely integration of insights into internal platforms and communication channels. 

• Perform in-depth market research and analysis 

• Examine Luxembourg’s financial landscape, as well as the international context, with an emphasis on asset management and alternative investments such as investment funds, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge funds. 

• Track macroeconomic, regulatory, and technological trends (e.g., ESG integration, digitalisation, UCITS, AIFMD updates) and translate them into actionable insights. 

• Use quantitative and qualitative methods to generate strategic intelligence through reports, dashboards, and presentations on growth drivers, risks, and competition. 

• Collaborate with Industry and LoS stakeholders to turn findings into strategic recommendations for service development and go-to-market strategies. 

• Deliver impactful insights and tools 

• Build and maintain structured databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability. 

• Automate data collection processes where possible to improve efficiency. 

• Create dashboards, reports, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to visualize trends and support strategic discussions. 

• Collaborate and shape business strategy 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various service lines to deliver strategic intelligence and share pertinent industry and market knowledge. 

• Contribute to PwC’s thought leadership, go-to-market strategies, and client proposals. 

Key Deliverables 

• Monthly Market Intelligence Reports: Comprehensive updates on trends and opportunities. 

• Industry Briefs & Benchmarking Studies: Focused on Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), Alternatives, and other key sectors. 

• Dashboards & Trend Analysis Presentations:  Visual insights to support strategic discussions and decision-making. 

• Strategic Insight Packages: Tailored recommendations for leadership and business units to drive growth and positioning. 

Let’s Talk About You 

If you have/are: 

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields; 

• Previous experience or strong interest in financial sectors: Asset Management and Alternatives industries; 

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data; 

• Fluency in English and French (other languages are a plus); 

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;  

• Demonstrate advanced skills for data manipulation and visualization (PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.);  

• A proactive, curious mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; 

• Good knowledge of Luxembourg’s financial landscape;  

• Can meet tight deadlines and prioritize your workload.
