Abbott Diabetes Care is looking for a Market Access & Tender Manager to strengthen our engagement with payors, government bodies, and key healthcare stakeholders in Norway.
In this role, you will lead market access initiatives and national tender management, shaping sustainable partnerships that drive access, adoption, and long‑term value for our diabetes care solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring successful reimbursement, pricing, and tender outcomes while embedding market access expertise across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage strong relationships with key payors and stakeholders, including Sykehusinnkjøp HF, HELFO, tender units, wholesalers, distributors, KOLs, and decision makers.
Lead national tender management end‑to‑end, ensuring compliant, timely, and competitive submissions and follow‑up.
Contribute to the development and execution of the Norway market access and payor strategy, ensuring access and usage of ADC products.
Monitor changes in the healthcare, payor, and policy environment and assess impact on the business.
Drive pricing, reimbursement, and partnership initiatives to protect and grow access for continuous glucose monitoring solutions.
Collaborate closely with Sales, KAMs, and cross‑functional teams to embed market access expertise and support local execution.
Identify new business and partnership opportunities that create shared value for payors and Abbott.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Health Economics, Health Administration, or a related field.
Experience in Market Access, public affairs, or a related role within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
Strong knowledge of the Norwegian healthcare and payor landscape, including Nye Metoder, HELFO, RHAs, municipalities, Ministry of Health and Care Services, Norwegian Directorate of Health, and Norwegian Medical Products Agency.
Experience with tenders, pricing, reimbursement, and stakeholder engagement at national or regional level.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a complex environment.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, with strong business acumen and proficiency in MS Office.
