Key Responsibilities:
Market Access Strategy Planning & Execution
Lead the development and execution of market access strategies for GSK new products, with a strong focus on specialty medicines and vaccines, to secure optimal patient access with fair and sustainable pricing.
Define and communicate the value and access roadmap for GSK’s portfolio in close collaboration with regional and global teams, ensuring timely alignment on local market access strategies.
Anticipate changes in the healthcare environment, pricing and reimbursement policies, and proactively lead environment shaping initiatives to improve patient access for GSK assets through comprehensive stakeholder engagement.
Prepare and oversee high‑quality market access deliverables, including P&R strategies, product value dossiers, local adaptation of HTA materials, HIRA dossiers, and responses to requirements from government bodies and payers.
Drive and ensure the local HEOR and RWE strategy to support value‑based pricing and reimbursement, working closely with cross‑functional teams.
Develop optimized access and business strategies for established products, including leading reimbursement criteria expansion to maximize patient access.
Define and manage long‑term pricing strategies for reimbursed products and oversee listed prices to minimize negative business impact from price containment mechanisms (e.g. PVA, ATP, patent expiry).
Directly manage and develop team members, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high‑quality delivery and professional growth.
Cross‑Functional & External Partnership
Support and shape the healthcare policy agenda to enable improved patient access for GSK innovations, and lead key external stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with payers, policymakers, and medical experts, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, balanced, and evidence‑based value messages for GSK products.
Partner closely with local, regional, and global teams to align on P&R strategies, payer value dossiers, HEOR approaches, and local evidence generation plans.
Act as a strategic market access leader within cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Supply, and Government Affairs.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry/academy with in-depth understanding for market access area (healthcare system, pricing policy, HEOR)
Strategic mindset with problems solving, and analytical ability.
Pro-active attitude and the ability to work independently
Experience in communicating, influencing, and negotiating with healthcare policy decision-makers
Good communication & negotiation skill
Collaborative work with internal & external stakeholders
Fluent in English
Postgraduate qualifications in healthcare policy, and health economics
Experience in commercial and business functions in the Pharmaceutical
