The Position
Market Access Enabler plays a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable patient access to Roche’s innovative medicines by navigating complex reimbursement pathways, while serving as the key liaison between ecosystem shaping and disease area pods, and leading the development and execution of strategies that secure optimal reimbursement and long-term access for Roche products.
As Market Access Enabler, you will demonstrate VACC leadership by inspiring and empowering both your team and cross-functional partners, by ensuring they have the right capabilities, tools, and strategies they need to perform effectively and create meaningful impact that enables sustainable patient access and generates long-term value for the organization
Your Impact:
- Supports the development and follow up on the execution of market access and reimbursement strategies for assigned products by working closely with disease area pods and aligning with internal global/local directions.
- Enables customer-facing teams to identify potential challenges and drive new opportunities or innovative solutions for accelerating product access and maximizing business potential.
- Contributes to the reimbursement and value dossier preparation by applying global & local tools to promote value-based and evidence-based reimbursement.
- Utilizes and coordinates the implementation of health economic studies, HTA submission documents, and other operational tasks required to secure patient access and reimbursement for Roche products.
- Incorporates and conducts research, customer insights, and competitive landscape analysis into disease areas/product access strategy and value proposition.
- Monitors healthcare policy, payer environment, and regulatory developments relevant to market access.
- Supports stakeholder mapping, identifies relevant payers, regulators, and authorities in collaboration with the ecosystem shaping and disease area pods.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with other relevant teams to gather necessary clinical, economic, and regulatory data to support access submissions.
- Maintains and updates access-related project tracking, project timelines, and progress metrics.
Who you are
- You hold bachelor’s degree (Pharmaceutical sciences, Medical related fields); Post-Graduate Degree in related fields (economics, Health economics, and public health) is a plus.
- You bring 5 years of experience across Commercial, Market Access, Medical, or Marketing functions, with proven experience in cross-functional team leadership, and people management is a plus.
- You demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- You have excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, and Stakeholder management skills.
- You possess in-depth knowledge and broad experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry and is able to effectively apply this expertise to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- You have strong entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding partnering capabilities (coaching, consulting, ability to deeply listen, question, and understand)
- You have growth mindset, able to learn and unlearn quickly, take risks and experiment, and contribute to the learning cycle by sharing knowledge with others inside and outside Roche.
