POSITION PURPOSE
The Market Access and pricing is responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure optimal market access for Zentiva’s New Chemical Entities and Value Added Medicines products (including new fixed dose combinations). This role requires extensive knowledge and skills to navigate thru Health Technology Assessment process across Europe including key stakeholders (healthcare providers, payers, and HTA authorities) to overcome market access challenges and opportunities. The Market Access and pricing manager play a crucial role in aligning market access strategies with commercial and marketing objectives. He will act as project manager to bring products on the market with optimized reimbursement conditions and price.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and health economics for New Chemical Entities and Value Added Medicines.
- Monitor and analyze market access trends and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
- Develop and implement pan-European market access strategies to ensure optimal access for New Chemical Entities and Value Added Medicines.
- Align market access strategies with commercial and marketing objectives.
- Lead selection and cost optimization for consultancy needed to prepare HTA submission and local price strategy and negotiations.
- Help to develop global and local value dossier for HTA submission in all key countries.
- Help countries to implement local HTA and price strategy and prepare negotiations with HTA and payers authorities to secure favorable market access conditions.
- Help to Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare, HTA and payers stakeholders or former stakeholders in key markets.
- Review local HTA / pricing submission dossiers to ensure consistency and accuracy in all key markets.
- Help to Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare, HTA and payers stakeholders in key markets.
- Support the development of value propositions and evidence generation to demonstrate the value of Zentiva’s NCEs and VAM products.
- Partner with internal teams at HQ and local level, including Marketing, Sales, and Medical Affairs, to ensure cohesive market access strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- University degree in pharmaceutical sciences, health economics, business, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, with a proven track record in pricing, reimbursement, and HTA success across key EU markets, including Western Europe and the UK.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating with HTA bodies and payer stakeholders and navigating complex access environments.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross‑functional projects and influencing without direct authority.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to design and execute market access strategies aligned with commercial goals.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends and regulatory developments.
- Highly effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate and present complex scientific and economic information.
- Skilled in synthesizing and critically analyzing data from diverse sources.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
