The Opportunity:

In this role you will be working closely with the Navy’s Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Force (MPRF) staff to ensure the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) capability are fulfilled. You will be working with our CACI team and varied Fleet representatives to ensure interoperability is maintained on the varied MPRF platforms to other operational customers ensuring that critical warfighting capabilities and maintained today and readied for tomorrow

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customers’ requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements
  • Provide feedback on operational concepts, operational impacts, current operational performance, and perform trade studies
  • Develop documentation relative to the system architecture and applicable design deliverables (i.e., FFBD, N2, IDD, etc.)
  • Prepare and participate in technical interchange meetings to provide insight on the system design to the Government sponsor, Fleet staff members, and relevant stakeholders
  • Attend weekly meetings between multiple Fleet entities covering down on current performance of delivered systems
  • Participate in exchanges with Fleet customers to ensure operational systems and network interfaces are properly sustained

Qualifications:

Required:

Education: B.S. Degree in an engineering field (i.e., Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, etc.)

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent real-world experience that demonstrates these skills

Clearance: U.S. Citizen and a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle
  • Knowledge of the principles of Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems with critical thinking
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Desired:

Education: M.S. Degree in an engineering field (i.e., Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, etc.)

Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience or equivalent real-world experience that demonstrates these skills

Clearance: U.S. Citizen and a Top Secret/SCI clearance W/CI Poly

  • Previous Systems Engineering experience on DoD programs
  • Relevant Navy or DoD focused experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
