Job Description:
Marine Lubricants & Grease Technical Services for International Vessels
- Achieve revenue targets for marine lubricants, greases, and related technical services.
- Visit customers and vessels in port to provide technical problem-solving, recommendations, and support.
- Collaborate with global Technical and Marketing teams to expand technical service offerings.
- Create lubrication charts
(comprehensive lists of lubrication points, required lubricants, and application details for machinery and equipment).
- Work with domestic and international engine manufacturers to obtain product approvals.
- Provide support to enhance the technical expertise of customers and internal teams, including organizing technical seminars.
- Japanese proficiency: Business ~ Native Level
- English proficiency: TOEIC 800 or above
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline
- Technical background in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Shipboard experience (approximately 1–5 years)
- STCW Certificate of Competency Min Class 2
- MS Office skills (Excel: data processing including Pivot Tables; PowerPoint: presentations)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
(e.g., customers and internal teams)
- Comfortable working collaboratively with global team members
- Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks
- Able to respond to change with initiative, identify issues independently, and drive actions toward results
- Able to understand customer and societal needs, maintain an outward-looking perspective, and apply creativity in proposing solutions
