MAPP Operations Team Lead

Turkey - Istanbul Full time

Turkey MAPP Operations Team Lead is responsible for the management and compliance execution of local market meetings and congress function aligned with the Turkey business needs, local and global guidelines and Pfızer strategy.

Turkey MAPP Operations Team Lead will be reporting to and will manage the MAPP responsibles for effective and compliant delivery of the full MAPP activities.

This includes the logistics management processes, oversight of the Ministry of Health submissions and reconciliations, Transfers of Value (ToV), system management, MAPP Navigator submissions and reconciliations, consultant and speaker agreements, honorarium payment processes, cost savings measurement, tracking, reporting and archiving of all MAPP activities, developing local policy and standards, client relationship management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages local market meetings and compliance function including honorarium processes
  • Manages a MAPP Ops Team responsible: recruitment, training, coaching and talent development, performance management, compensation planning
  • Follows the needs of direct reports, provides supervisory management, develops skills and competencies, resolves issues
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders receives, analyses and escalates feedback in a timely manner, provides necessary consulting in meeting management area
  • Communicates with Thessaloniki Service Center and EMEA Meet Operations Team for local market requirements and local procedures
  • Acts as key interface with other enabling functions, providing subject matter expertise for initiatives
  • Takes global compliance processes and adapts/implements them locally
  • Develops, oversees and timely updates local market Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Trains local Category Colleagues and vendors on processes and SOPs
  • Ensures compliance processes and global policies are followed at local market level
  • Works with business for meeting compliance strategies and is part of related teams (such as MoH disclosure team, EFPIA, etc.)
  • Leads and shapes Ministry of Health compliance requirements both within Pfizer and externally (AIFD, TIS, IEIS, MoH)
  • Manages MAPP Navigator and other related systems and works on system enhancements
  • Responsible for Ministry of Health ToV report delivery
  • Secures donation and grant processes
  • Secures department archive and audit readiness

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong process management and organizational skills; ability to manage multi-faceted, complex projects impacting customers and Pfizer
  • Capability to create new standards and practices to maximize organizational savings and efficiencies
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight timelines, prioritize work, and interact with all levels of the organization professionally
  • Strong delegation, project delivery and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, including presenting to senior leadership and persuading authorities such as AIFD and MoH
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Management and team leadership capability, including conflict and change management
  • Ability to motivate, train and develop teams while ensuring compliance and consistency
  • Strong understanding of organizational structure and products of supported business categories
  • Demonstrates initiative, strategic capability, and effectiveness in complex, rapidly changing environments
  • Ability to lead in a team-based environment, including leading without direct authority
  • Results-oriented, accountable, and experienced in implementing metrics and controls
  • Strong customer service focus, problem-solving, conflict management and strategic planning skills
  • Responsive to direct reports, stakeholders and internal customers
  • Team player with focus on consistency across teams and team leaders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, SAP Ariba, MAPP Navigator
  • Fluent English
  • MAPP and Ministry of Health ToV knowledge preferred
