In order to support the Engineering Team for all Programs in Stade, Airbus Commercial is looking for an
The position is located in a transnational engineering team in Stade, focusing on composite structures within the production environment.
The role combines stress analyses task to meet airworthiness requirements with improvement activities for CFRP components and manufacturing processes.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Analysis and validation of composite and hybrid structures with regard to static and fatigue strength
Evaluation of non-conformities (NCs) and development of solutions for repair and acceptance of damaged structures
Ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulations, design principles, manufacturing processes and engineering standards
Investigation of root causes for structural deviations and definition of corrective actions
Close collaboration with design offices around Europe, production and other operational teams to ensure product integrity and production stability
Supporting digitalization and improvement initiatives (e.g. Skywise, automated processes for NCs and concessions)
Contribution to continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and manufacturing performance
Desired skills and qualifications
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
Experience in composite structures,structural analysis and Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT)
Solid understanding of engineering principles, validation methods, manufacturing processes and airworthiness requirements in a production environment
Experience working in a production-related environment is a strong plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment
Fluent in English and German (both required)
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
