Join Manulife’s Asia Regional Distribution Strategy, Insights and Transformation team as an intern. In this role, you’ll support initiatives across distribution strategy, transformation, and digital innovation, gaining hands-on experience as part of a regional business management team.
Position Responsibilities:
Support design and execution of distribution strategy across 11 dynamic Asian markets, helping align priorities and contribute to meaningful change.
Assist with strategic projects that drive innovation and transformation throughout the region – from large scale programs to tactical initiatives.
Tackle complex business challenges in a fast-paced environment, working within a highly capable team to deliver impact.
Explore the intricacies of the life insurance business, deepening your understanding of wealth, health, and distribution management in addressing unique industry opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, with a solid grasp of core business and financial concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills – being able to work effectively with senior executives and colleagues from different functions and backgrounds.
Strong command of written and spoken English in a business context.
High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint – being able to quickly and effectively derive insights from data and produce compelling slides.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship experience in management consulting or business management, preferably within financial services or the life insurance industry; demonstrated success solving complex business problems in demanding environments and collaborating with top-tier talent.
Any extra-curricular activities that showcase the above skills and general proactiveness would be a plus.
Fluency in an Asian language is preferred.
