Job Description:
This role will be based in Illescas as preferred location and Getafe with travels to Illescas, but mobility from another site for a certain period of time is possible. This role will require travel anyway depending upon specific projects needs.
The successful candidate will join the Dissemination Team which is part of the larger Assembly Technologies Team within the Airbus Manufacturing Engineering Community. We are a highly motivated and engaged transnational team located in 10 different sites in 4 countries.
Who we are:
Your main mission will be to work on A350F and A350 ramp up industrialization on Drilling and Assembly topics.
And your role will be to:
Give support to the APTL and make an impact on the business via teamwork
Contribute to the transnational network and team
Identify and resolve any low maturity issues.
Analyze and Assessment of benefit of proposed solutions in terms of key figures of merit (i.e. Safety, Sustainability, Process capability, Rate, Cost, etc)
Contribute to Assembly projects with focus on best in class assembly process in collaboration with all production & assembly sites
Support production sites to adapt assembly processes to stabilize and improve production cycle & cost
This role will require strong collaboration with Design Engineering, Plants, the Research and Technology network and Supplier Partners.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies:
Engineering degree and/or practical experience
You already have knowledge of Drilling Process and Tools
You already have knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and assembly processes
Good understanding of industrial/manufacturing processes
You like to communicate and interact with people having different cultural background
You like to communicate and you have interpersonal skills independent from hierarchy
You are able to work autonomously
You feel comfortable in managing complex & dynamic projects in a transnational environment
You have the willingness and creativity to make things happen
Work in a team and the ability to energize each other
Ability to analyse and simplify complex topics
You want to challenge the status quo and our way of working
Negotiation level in English (both written and verbal) is a must as we are working in a transnational environment on a daily basis.
