This role is a shift based role. Candidates must have ability to work on a monthly rotating shift pattern. Exact shift details are discussed at later stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Wafer Production: Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including operations, equipment handling, and process training.

Equipment Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work on defect reduction.

Technical Proficiency: Utilize technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform tasks.

Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving techniques and use various tools and test equipment to address production challenges.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You must have an NFQ Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/Ord Bachelors/Higher Certificate (Level 7) in either Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronic, Aircraft Systems, Process Technology, Physics, Instrumentation, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Maths, Chemical Process, or completed a Trades Apprenticeship.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive with an ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated Team dynamics and Ability to work as part of a high-performing team.

  • High level of attention to detail with demonstrated capability of following procedures closely.

  • Good planning and organization skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Commitment to travel on assignment for varying duration depending on business need.

  • This role is based on a monthly rotating shift pattern.
