The Manufacturing Technician 3 will be responsible for performing a wide variety of manufacturing activities. The Technician will prepare and formulate reagents, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment, and prepare kits for internal and external distribution.
Responsibilities:
Synthesize and purify oligonucleotides
Prepare and formulate buffers and reagents according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Assemble assay kits for internal and external distribution.
Ensure accurate accounting of materials in the inventory management system.
Perform routine maintenance and limited troubleshooting on general use laboratory equipment, such as balances, pH meters, freezers, vacuum pumps, etc.
Complete all paperwork as required (batch records, cleaning logs, maintenance logs, etc.) and ensure that all required records and logs are accurately maintained.
Perform work in compliance with all GMP and EH&S requirements.
Ensure that work areas are maintained in a well-organized, clean and tidy manner at all times in compliance with established requirements.
Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
Oligonucleotide synthesis experience is preferred
Experience working in a regulated laboratory required, experience in a cGMP environment preferred
GMP documentation experience, strong attention to detail
Aliquoting/pipetting, buffer and mix formulation, concentration verification skills required
Experienced user of Excel spreadsheets and calculations, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ERP or other computerized lab/inventory database
Work is in a typical laboratory environment with personal protective equipment use required
Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis

The estimated base hourly range for the Manufacturing Technician 3 role based in the United States of America is: $23.02 - $34.56. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
