Where you come in:

A Process Technician monitors and controls automated process equipment to ensure optimal product quality and production output. They troubleshoot process issues, implement process improvements, and maintain detailed records. They also collaborate with other teams, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

  What makes you successful:

  • Daily actions and focus
    • Monitor and control of data from the G7 Wx commercial manufacturing space using data systems including OSI PI, Tableau, JIRA etc.
    • Monitor all processes with the goal of resolving any issues as efficiently as possible, reducing downtime and increasing Throughput.

  • Monitoring and Control:
    • Observing and adjusting automated processes to maintain optimal performance and product quality
    • 1st responder on UMAINT events, with ability to action/delegate as necessary and facilitate the completion of Failure Mode checklists. (RITE)
    • OSI PI review of key process indicators such as handling, sensor placement, repetitive failures, yield and throughput, Use data-driven methods to make output decisions such as downing underperforming equipment.
    • Quality Control Procedures

  • Troubleshooting:
    • Identifying and resolving process-related issues, often involving complex machinery and systems. 

  • Collaboration:
    • Working closely with engineering, operations, MES and other teams to support production and implement improvements
    • Engineering request (ER) support on case-by-case basis.
    • Representing the engineering department on the commercial manufacturing floor.
    • Recipe management and verification

  • Training and Mentoring:
    • Providing training to other personnel on process operations and quality procedures. 
    • observe workers in order to make sure that all equipment is being used properly and maintained to the correct standards.

  • Documentation:
    • Creating and maintaining documentation related to process setups, changes, and troubleshooting in utilizing Maximo Asset management.

Required Qualifications:  

A Process Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various processes in a production environment. They work with machinery and equipment to ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Requires 1 to 2 years' experience with data analytics. Experience in an equipment maintenance position is preferred. Needs to be very familiar with MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree (AA.) in a technical field from an accredited college or in equipment, process and/or electronics related curriculum 
  • Manufacturing Associate or equipment maintenance experience is taken into consideration.

Education Requirements:  

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
