Position Overview

Shaw Industries is hiring a supervisor to lead the third shift operations of the continuous dye line at Plant 04. This person will lead a safe, efficient and productive work environment so as to satisfy our customers' (both internal and external) requirements, and improve the overall abilities of all employees through the demonstration of Shaw's Front Line Leadership Competencies. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily shift operation of the 3rd Shift on the Dyeing Solid at Plant 4. 

• Must lead the shift in safety, quality, production and cost. To be successful as Supervisor, a candidate must be able to: solve problems; provide direction; coach associates; hold the team accountable; effectively communicate with peers and management; continuously drive departmental improvements.

• The Supervisor plans shift production using Formula Control and works with other departments to meet customer demands.

• The Supervisor monitors the Head's Up Display screen to monitor process status.

• Requirements:  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required.  

• Previous experience in manufacturing required.  

• Previous experience as Lead, Fill-In Supervisor or Supervisor within the most recent 5 years required.  

• Carpet Dyeing Experience preferred.
