Job Description

The position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a product engineering change notification system. These changes will include improvements, repairs and include development of new products and materials. This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to guide the manufacturing services technician team and involves coordinating integration between design engineering and manufacturing, ensure that appropriate changes are documented and implemented.

Your responsibilities

I Provide technical support to production teams and collaborate with design engineering to troubleshooting product issues.

  • Coordinate engineers change for orders in production line.

  • Create and Modify BOM's (Bill of materials) to Materials and Orders on SAP.

  • Create and Modify process routes on SAP to Sales Orders.
  • Release new sales orders for costing and validate errors in the process in the different business units.
  • Extend and create materials make in-house for new projects and sales orders with the collaboration from manufacturing process team and Mechanical designer team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design engineering, quality, planning, and Materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in similar positions
  • Knowledge of reading electrical diagrams, interpretation of mechanical assemblies and mechanical Layouts.
  • Effective communication and proactivity.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Conversational English
  • Familiarity with SAP mplements and maintains an Engineering Change Notice System. These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented.

You will report to Manufacturing Services Team Lead.
