The opportunity
Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities may include: Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations. Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.
How you’ll make an impact
- Oversee winding operations, including primary winding, insulation, and assembly.
- Ensure compliance with standard manufacturing processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Control and monitor the usage of all critical tools in production.
- Interpret and implement engineering drawings, winding sheets, and work instructions.
- Ensure micro-level planning for each workstation to optimize manufacturing execution.
- Allocate and manage operators to meet production targets.
- Lead and develop a team of winding technicians, supervisors, and contract workers.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs and multi-skilling initiatives.
- Work closely with Planning, Purchase, Maintenance, and Quality departments for smooth execution of production schedules.
- Foster collaboration within the team to maintain high-quality standards and timely delivery.
- Drive Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Monitor and report KPIs such as productivity, downtime, rework, and first-pass yield.
- Ensure critical equipment availability remains above 90%.
- Enforce strict adherence to EHS policies and promote a zero-incident safety culture.
- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Candidate should hold a Bachelor / master’s degree in engineering with relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
