Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that quality is embedded into
manufacturing processes. The role focuses on process stability, correct implementation of
engineering changes, and ensuring that production is always operating according to defined
and controlled standards.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality is built into manufacturing processes by defining, reviewing, and maintaining stable and controlled production standards.

• Drive implementation of engineering changes into production, ensuring full alignment between design intent and manufacturing execution.

• Validate production readiness before release after any change, ensuring processes, documentation, and risks are properly addressed.

• Review, update, and approve work instructions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with real production conditions.

• Act as the interface between R&D and Production to ensure smooth transfer of design requirements into manufacturing.

• Identify gaps and risks in manufacturing processes and define actions to ensure process stability and repeatability.

• Support Production in resolving process-related issues with a focus on root cause and sustainable solutions.

• Ensure proper application of quality standards and methodologies within manufacturing processes.

• Monitor effectiveness of process implementation and drive continuous improvement to reduce variability and rework.

• Promote the principle “Quality is made in Production” and strengthen process ownership within operational teams.

Skills & Capabilities

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process quality control.

• Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools (e.g., 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, RCA).

• Understanding of QMS principles and ISO 9001 standards.

• Ability to translate technical design documentation into practical production processes.

• Experience with work instructions, process documentation, and change management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.

• Ability to identify process gaps and drive sustainable improvements. • Effective communication and collaboration skills across functions (R&D, Production, Quality).

• High level of ownership, accountability, and proactive mindset.

• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.

Experience Desired

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering roles.

• Experience in a production environment with focus on process stability and improvement.

• Proven experience with implementation of engineering changes into production.

• Experience with quality problem-solving and root cause analysis.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Production, Industrial Engineering).

• Experience with work instructions and production documentation management

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field.

• Additional qualification in Quality Management is an advantage.

• Certification in quality tools or methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma) is a plus.
