The machining department produces a variety of high-quality plastic components and parts that our customers use with other components to dispense, transport, and store a range of different chemicals. In this role you will perform tasks such as operating CNC machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring highest quality standards by following Standard Operating Procedures.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operates manual and CNC machines (vertical/horizontal lathes, mills, grinders, 5-axis machines) to produce precision parts in accordance with work order specifications.
- Safely utilizes cutting tools to perform minor corrective operations on machined products as needed.
- Collaborates with machinists and machining supervisor to ensure that production schedule is met, and any issues are escalated timely.
- Uses SAP and other electronic systems to find, record and generate documentation throughout the production process. Records all output and production data in ERP (Enterprise ) systems and maintain compliance with all online training and documentation requirements.
- Packages finished orders in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.
- Performs manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks (checking/filling oil, vacuuming, changing filters, etc) and other housekeeping duties.
- Ensures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline by utilizing different measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/height indicators. Escalates quality issues to supervisor or to quality department as appropriate. Ensuring the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards.
- Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). Maintains accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
- Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
- Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, etc.):
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance.
- Ability to understand documented processes and procedures indicated in engineering blueprints.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for 50% of the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work is performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protection may be required while on duty.
- Must be able to use measuring devices (Calipers, measuring tape) and role involves periodic pinching and grasping of hand tools.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn at all times in the manufacturing area. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests.
