BDS Manufacturing Operations is seeking an Manufacturing Operations Work Movement Project Specialist to define and lead complex projects in support of work movement and manufacturing operations priorities.  

To be successful, this individual will possess strong project management, communication, problem solving and integration skills. We need a perceptive professional who lives our Boeing values and utilizes their skills and experiences to collaborate with a variety of organizations to make our function better.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple work movement projects from inception to closeout, improving processes when needed
  • Foster a problem-solving and continuous improvement culture
  • Ensures first time quality of executive materials/messaging
  • Models accountability and drives compliance to work movement processes
  • Summarizes key actions and reports progress to plan for senior executives
  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be on site often at one or more of the sites below, but some telecommuting is allowed.

Preferred locations: St. Louis, Mesa, Philadelphia or within the Puget Sound.  

This position will require up to 25% travel.   

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading large scale project management  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with the work movement process, preferably with the internal cross-load process
  • Experience interfacing frequently with senior and executive leaders
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Supply Chain
  • Experience in a role that required cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Summary pay range:

St Louis, Mesa: $118-150 - $159,850

Philadelphia, Puget Sound: $126,650 - $171,350
