Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Manufacturing Manager (level K) to support the Aerospace Composites Center (ACC) in Hazelwood, MO!

 The Aerospace Composites Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing areas
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Oversight and Ownership to Zero injury and First Time Quality culture
  • Manage, inspire, develop and motivate employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience driving improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people on production and development programs
  • Leadership experience in a formal or informal capacity
  • Candidate must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and overtime support program objectives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant field
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
