Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 777 Program is seeking a First-Line Manufacturing Manager to support 777 Fuselage Assembly Center (FAC) within the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) in Everett, Washington.

We are looking for a leader that has the ability to partner cross-functionally with other organizations to quickly address production constraints. A successful manager will work to achieve team and program goals, while prioritizing and continuously fostering a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages LSCC SPEEA and IAM represented employees performing activities to support manufacturing.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
  • Acquires resources and leads process improvements via RSPS and/or BPSM methodologies.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Leads, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.
  • 3+ years using Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT, CMES, REDARS, & Worklife.
  • 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Prior Production experience.
  • Prior LSCC experience.
  • Understanding of One BPS process and principles.

Summary pay range: $126,000 - $154,000
