Job Description

  

Job Summary:

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform emergency, routine, and preventative maintenance in a timely manner

  • Document and track work performed

  • Assist Manufacturing Equipment Engineer as required on facilities needs and new tool installations or upgrades

  • Work safely, including safe handling of facilities (electrical, etc.) and chemicals (solvents, lubricants, etc.), and maintain a safe and clean work area

  • Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 - 4 years of related experience required; 4 - 6 years of related experience preferred

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications

  • Refrigeration, PLC, Machine shop, or Semiconductor equipment maintenance experience preferred

  • Post-secondary education or certification preferred

  • Can lift and move loads up to 70 pounds,

  • Able to work from a standing position for 3-5 hours per shift or sitting for 4-8 hours daily

  • Able and willing to work primarily on weekend shift, and some weekday overtime when required

  • Able and willing to work in a clean room environment, which requires special protective-outer garments (provided by the company) to maintain cleanliness in the workspace and to follow clean room protocol. Area will be temperature controlled (average temperature 70-degrees F).
