The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment & Tooling: Ensure manufacturing equipment & tooling supports production & test requirements
    • Improve & maintain equipment uptime and utilization
    • Support capital equipment selection, justification, and implementation
  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs; able to perform root cause and corrective action analysis & implementation
    • Ensure processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements
    • Enable data‑driven decision making through SPC, KPIs, and process capability analysis
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering and mechanic staff to support strong performance and growth.
  • Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross functional teams to meet Delivery, Quality and Cost targets.
    • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships to align process improvements with production and business priorities
    • Translate technical issues into clear recommendations for leadership
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering leadership
  • Electromechanical manufacturing a plus.
  • Significant experience in manufacturing/process engineering with demonstrated leadership capability
  • Strong background in process control, continuous improvement, and production support
  • Experience in regulated or high‑reliability manufacturing environments preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross‑department collaboration and presenting findings. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management within the organization.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for issues that arise when implementing new test methods
  • Desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge and keep up with current technical advances in the field
  • Experience in maintaining manufacturing and test equipment

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location.  When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills

  

Salary Range:

$113,600.00-$151,400.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
