Job Responsibilities
* Assist manufacturing engineers in analyzing existing production lines and identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
* Support the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
* Participate in time studies, process mapping, and data collection to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and design engineering, to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and processes to minimize downtime.
* Conduct research and present findings on new technologies, materials, or manufacturing methods that could benefit Jabil.
* Participate in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects, learning and applying relevant methodologies.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing engineering department.

Job Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and industrial automation concepts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
