Job Description
Develop, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Communicate with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of our products. Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
You will report to the ME Engineering Supervisor, role is located in Katowice - Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technological support for the production line,
- Improve production processes,
- Identification and implementation of savings projects.
- Prepare technological documentation
- Conduct training for device operators
- Develop material and time standards
- Specification and acceptance of new machines, devices, processes
- Cooperation with engineers from other departments in the field of issues related to the production of industrial automation components.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Higher technical education with an electrical, mechanical or related profile,
- Min. 3 years of experience in a similar position,
- Experience setting up the automated process,
- Knowledge of traceability solutions in automated processes,
- Experience with the integration of IT systems in a production environment;
- Very good command of English,
- Experience in a production company based on ERP systems (e.g. SAP),
- Experience using tools in the field of "Problem Solving" conducting experiments in the field of production processes (DoE), and statistical methods of process control confirmed by examples,
- Knowledge of FMEA, PCP, PFD processes, process assessment methods,
- Knowledge and practical ability to use the analytical capabilities of the Office suite,
- Read technical drawings,
- Energy, creativity and goal, task and cooperation orientation,
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience in Value Stream Mapping,
- Knowledge of the construction and operation of contactors and circuit breakers;
- Experience running projects implementing new production processes,
- SEP G1.3 qualifications (for operating electrical devices and testers),
- Knowledge of the ATEX directive,
