Performs engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks related to the design and development of manufacturing equipment, processes, and tooling under supervision. Follows strict engineering practices and applies sound principles to deliver optimal solutions in line with quality and global standards. Researches, specifies, evaluates, recommends, and implements new automation, equipment, and processes. Sustains existing processes and equipment by identifying and implementing cost reduction opportunities and productivity improvements while providing technical expertise. Works on components of engineering projects or operations and may manage small to medium projects from start to finish according to company policies. Builds and maintains working relationships internally and externally.
