Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating options and making complex design recommendations to fulfill requirements. Assesses results for applicability, validity and conformance with design specifications. Performs moderate design and skilled technical tasks.
About the Job
- Work with R&D team to develop and support concurrent New Product projects through design-to-cost principles, design for manufacturability and the transition of new and improved products from development through full-scale production.Task 2
- Assure new project processes and product are capable of meeting performance and reliability requirements
- Continue improvement for existing production line, and cost improvement
- Define tooling and equipment requirements, capital equipment justification, and qualifying both tooling and equipment for production
- Develop new product and new process documentation (Flow chart, FMEA, work instructions, routings, specifications, assembly information).
- Conduct error-proofing analyses and determine root cause of process variation and product failures.
- Determine cause of field problems & customer complaints. Implement effective corrective action in a timely manner
- Assess and improve quality of internal production and the quality of suppliers.
- Work closely with internal and external technical support. Perform internal and external (supplier) process, product, and systems audits.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering science - mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering mechanics or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, at least 3 years in process development, automotive industry experience is preferred
- Familiar with new equipment development
- Automotive sensor technology is preferred: Familiar with Assembly process, welding process such as resistance welding, laser welding process; Potting and dispensing process, soldering process, and EOL testing process.
- Have statistic data analysis for process analysis and improvement, GB/BB is Plus
- Familiar with TS16949, APQP, lean manufacturing
- Open Mind, Passion for Excellence and Good Communication capability will be strongly expected
- Good at English language ability in reading, writing,
