Manufacturing Engineer I

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Design and implement new manufacturing systems and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes. (work instructions)
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assists in the training of less-experienced personnel by leading and training teams in lean manufacturing.
• Design assembly processes (time studies, line balancing, material handling devices, material delivery systems).
• Coordinates maintenance personnel in support of equipment and facility requirements.
• Maintain constant communication with product engineering and timely implement any processes changes
• Submit product process deviations as required
• Other duties as required.

• Ability to learn the fundamentals of motor assembly and testing per Regal standards.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to perform necessary processes changes as needed/requested
• Willingness to learn about all product groups.
• Ability to train others.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively, both written and verbally, to personnel at all levels of an organization.
• Operate a PC, Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Draftsite, Oracle

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
