What You Will Do

• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
• Manage acquisition, delivery, and commissioning of capital equipment and tooling
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for product lines (prep, evaluation, equivalency)
• Support engineering initiatives including First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Improve first pass yield and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
• Identify process improvement and mechanization opportunities
• Optimize manufacturing processes (peening, acid clean, polishing, media finish, etc.)
• Manage MRB reviews and drive non-conformance reduction plans
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve technical and process issues
• Apply data-driven methods to analyze failures and determine root causes
• Implement RTX CORE concepts to support shopfloor initiatives
• Create and maintain BOMs, routings, and work instructions
• Provide technical support across cross-functional teams

Qualifications You Must Have

• Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace production environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Team player with ability to work independently under pressure

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proficiency in data analysis and engineering problem-solving tools
• Experience with PFMEA and First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Basic coding knowledge (e.g. Python)
• Exposure to manufacturing process optimization
• Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement methodologies
