Boeing Ukraine is looking for Manufacturing Engineer.

The candidate will be a significant contributor to team of Manufacturing Engineers/Planners in Boeing Engineering Center in Kyiv.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary engineering support for the commodity/program, ensuring all technical fabrication aspects are addressed; investigates and resolves engineering issues that impact performance, cost, or schedule.

  • Conduct technical reviews and checks to improve First Time Quality; reviews and approves supplier data, drawings, and work instructions to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key technical enablers and process risks that affect fabrication, and defines mitigation or enablement projects.

  • Develop, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, routings, and illustrations to define and document plans for manufacturing parts.

  • Work with Design Engineering to provide producibility input during Technical Design Reviews and as cross‑functional unit to meet cost, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.

  • Apply Lean principles and data‑driven analysis to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and build business cases for process automation or tooling improvements.

  • Contribute to the definition of enhancement projects to bring value to the shop floor operations and make them more efficient and increase quality.

  • Apply new engineering principles, theories, technologies, and manufacturing concepts to improve fabrication capability and performance.

  • Mentor teammates within the area of responsibility, contributes to training program development and delivery, and supports skill development of less experienced staff.

  • Pursue best practices and actively contributes to knowledge generation and sharing.

  • Effectively communicate to stakeholders to remove impediments and ensure timely deliverables of high quality.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Stakeholder management.

  • High awareness of the Engineering life-cycle (Design, Check, Planning, Manufacturing).

  • Fluent English and Ukrainian.

  • Permit to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 4 + years’ experience in Production Industrial Engineering.

  • 4 + years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.

  • Experience implementing or defining new Manufacturing processes in a production setting.

  • Extensive experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes.

  • Experience with the following software PDM, CAPP, CATIA, IVT, CDS,  ENOVIA, ERP.
