MAIN OBJECTIVES 

The management of all assembly functions within manufacturing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Working collaboratively with other functional Team Leaders to deliver what our customers require.

Management of the assembly team within Manufacturing.

Allocating resources to ensure on time delivery in full of high quality product.

 

Assisting Assembly personnel with issues and queries.

 

Provide updates for  Sales Orders and  Work Orders Reason for Lateness.

 

Maintain Visual Schedule and Skills Matrices.

 

Onboard, train and develop staff in the required disciplines, Test and Safety processes and quality standards.

 

Review of the quality of work produced and ensuring the relevant documentation have been properly completed.

 

Drive innovation in continuous improvement and lean objectives to increase productivity and efficiencies.

Ensure compliance with all elements of QMS, build standards and ESD requirements. 

 

Set the standards for housekeeping and working practices.

 

Review Procedures and Standards.

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

  

Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes. 

Familiar with Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

 

Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques. 

 

Good communication skills. 

 

Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. 

 

Supervisory experience.
