What You'll be Doing:

As an Associate Director Legal Counsel, you will lead complex legal projects, providing expert guidance to drive strategic planning and ensure compliance. Your role will involve significant autonomy, allowing you to leverage your expert legal knowledge to make impactful decisions. You will be a key player in aligning legal initiatives with organizational goals, providing high-impact legal support to diverse stakeholders.

Our Ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Boston area.

Key Tasks: 

  • Lead high-impact legal projects with minimal supervision.

  • Provide expert legal guidance to senior leadership on complex matters.

  • Drive strategic legal planning and contribute to organizational goals.

  • Negotiate and finalize critical contracts and agreements.

  • Offer expert legal opinions and risk assessments.

  • Oversee significant legal issues and develop strategic solutions.

  • Represent the organization in high-level legal negotiations.

  • Establish and implement legal policies and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align legal strategies.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal trend analysis to inform decision-making.

You're a Great Fit if You Have/Can:  

  • Bachelor’s degree + J.D. (law degree) required; must be admitted to practice law in the state in which the candidate resides.

  • Project Leadership: Leading significant legal projects effectively.

  • Expert Legal Guidance: Providing authoritative legal advice.

  • Strategic Planning: Contributing to high-level strategic legal planning.

  • High-Stakes Negotiation: Handling critical negotiations expertly.

  • Risk Assessment: Conducting and advising on thorough risk assessments.

  • Issue Oversight: Managing and resolving significant legal issues.

  • Policy Development: Establishing and overseeing legal frameworks.

  • Trend Analysis: Analyzing legal trends to inform strategies.

  • Is located within 50 miles of the Waltham, MA office, and can work a hybrid schedule, being in office 2-days a week.

Compensation:

158,900.00 - 283,950.00 USD

 

This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
