Your day at NTT DATA
The CEO, Country is a Senior Vice President role, responsible for working with regional executives to plan, drive and ensure the flawless execution of initiatives, activities, programs within the regional strategy and translate this into a country specific strategy, related policies and operational plans.
This strategic and influential senior leadership role is responsible for the execution of the strategy and management of the country and its operations by way of delegated authority from the regional executive.
This role is accountable for a large country or several medium-sized country operations within a region fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on strategic and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:- Supports the planning and success of all revenue generating activities within the country as they align to regional deliverables.
- Acts as an advisor and representative to senior management team in country and relevant executive regional stakeholders.
- Establishes and ensures the implementation country goals, policies and procedures as aligned to the overall strategic and cultural needs of the business.
- Directs and oversees the country’s financial and budgetary activities to align to country specific goals and objectives.
- Supports the regional CEO directives and their execution as well as supporting the regional CEO with converting ideas and initiatives into plans to ensure clarity of timelines, ownership of accountabilities and deliverables.
- Provides expert guidance on corporate risk management, ethics and regulatory compliance requirements related to approach and execution of the country strategic plan.
- Primary point of contact for the executive leadership on matters relating to country specific profit and loss and overall strategic plan implementation and performance.
- Provides strategic support with respect to complex transition and transformation activities that will enable country performance achievement.
- Identifies opportunities to cut costs and improves country performance, policies and programs.
- Provides executive oversight and responsibility across the country to ensure its effective and efficient functioning.
- Creates and sustains a culture of innovation and enablement, underpinned by and expressing the values and philosophy of the organization.
- Sets up, maintains and reviews country organizational structure, systems, policies, processes and procedures, in order to guide, support, inform, service and monitor the prime functions of the country.
- Ensures effective and efficient functioning of the country and all its operating divisions within the country.
- Directs and influences the activities of all functional areas within the country per the direction of the regional CEO through the managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.

- Substantially vast theoretical and practical knowledge of business operations of several divers function within a geography.
- Ability to integrate critical information diverse functions / divisions to develop strategy for a geography.
- Substantially vast knowledge of major segments of the overall organization.
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen.
- Ability to resolve highly complex issues where fundamental principles do not apply or appear to conflict or where data conflicts or is inconclusive.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization as well as across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to interact both internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters.
- Ability to influence policymaking and inspire action throughout their area of responsibility. (Will interact with opco senior leadership as well as with clients at the highest levels).
Academic qualifications and certifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business-related field or related field.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA is advantageous.
Required experience:- Substantially vast relevant work experience combined with in-depth knowledge of multiple disciplines.
- Substantially vast experience of executive leadership role in a matrix environment within the Technology sector.
- Substantially vast demonstrated leadership record and experience in managing a team.
- Substantially vast experience engaging with executive and/or senior leadership teams.
- Substantially vast experience with managing profit and loss for a standalone business or business segment typically covering a single country and/or several small / less complex countries.
- Substantially vast experience with the management and development of key talent and leadership succession within a business.
