As ES Managing Director, you will focus on the recruitment of senior and executive-level professionals across all industries.  Operating within our boutique-like environment, you will work collaboratively on customized searches with clients, delivering personalized attention and deploying our proven search execution processes to successfully place leadership talent.

  • To cultivate and expand trust-based client relationships with executives and secure search engagements successfully, your responsibilities will include:
    • Building a collaborative network with colleagues across all Robert Half’s practice groups to leverage client introductions.
    • Cultivating relationships with Protiviti Managing Directors in your local market to facilitate introductions to existing clients.
    • Providing exceptional service and nuturing long-term relationships with clients and placed executives, fostering repeat business and referrals to other executive leaders.
    • Leverage existing client relationships to gain introductions to and establish connections with potential buyers within their organizations. 
    • Participating in local professional networking organizations that bring together C-level leaders and Board members to connect with new clients.    
    • Following up on senior and executive-level openings identified through lead sources such as shortlisted candidate update calls, placed candidate calls, reference calls, and Salesforce.
  • In addition to growing your client base, you will proactively manage the search execution process for active searches by: 
    • Acting as the project manager and providing leadership throughout the entire search process.
    • Negotiating terms and facilitating the signing of search engagement letters (SELs).
    • Leading client kick-off meetings and conducting weekly client status update calls.
    • Collaborating with clients to capture position details.
    • Initiating searches through our internal kick-off call, communicating the position’s scope and desired management competencies, style, and personality needs.
    • Providing focus and guidance for the search execution team on candidate identification.
    • Interviewing and evaluating all final candidates on technical skills, behavioural traits, personality, and a cultural/value-based match with the client.
    • Presenting final candidates to the client and offering advise on their selection for interview.
    • Facilitating the acceptance of offers, determining start dates, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new role.
  • You will also collaborate closely with other ES Managing Directors to jointly pitch on roles.

Profile

  • Demonstrated success with over 15 years of consultative experience in selling to and developing C-level client contracts, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Excel at sales and influencing executive leadership regarding their human-capital needs at the most senior level, establishing strong trust-based relationships.
  • Passion for enabling companies to compete effectively in the global market for their most valuable asset: executive talent.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues at all levels.
  • Highly organized and focused on continuously developing new clients while managing a high volume of active searches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree required.

The hiring compensation will be a range of $90,000 to $100,000.
