We are now looking for a Managing Director for France based out of Paris to lead our successful organisation.
Role Overview
Managing Director of Dell Technologies France is responsible for leading our France sales organisation into a modern, customer-centric, and data-driven salesforce to capture the addressable market in France as Dell customers. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales leadership and coaching, transformation, and customer-facing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute a Modern Sales Strategy:
- Create a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve customer excellence, team excellence, and operational excellence leveraging modern tools to drive revenue growth and customer success.
- Align team activities with company goals and objectives and ensure a customer-centric approach to sales.
Build and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team:
- Attract, retain, and develop a diverse and talented team of sales professionals who are equipped to succeed in a rapidly changing market.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members achieve their full potential.
Drive Digital Transformation and Sales Enablement:
- Develop and implement a sales enablement strategy that leverages technology, data, and analytics to drive sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Ensure that the sales team has the tools, training, and support needed to succeed in a digital-first sales environment.
Customer Success and Experience:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders and ensure that the sales team is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and execute a customer success strategy that drives loyalty, retention, and growth.
Leadership Expectations:
- Visionary Leadership: Develop and execute a clear and compelling vision for the sales organisation and inspire and motivate the team to achieve exceptional results.
- Digital Acumen: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in sales and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
- Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders and ensure that the sales team is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and ensure that the sales organisation is aligned with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing technology sales or solutions businesses
- Inspirational leadership and results-driven mindset
- Experience managing matrix organisations
- Strong business acumen, change management and adaptability
- Master’s degree or MBA with commercial orientation preferred
- Fluency in French and English
